Cattany <br /> Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br /> <br />Re: WRC Gravel Pit, Application No. M-2008-070, Preliminary Adequacy Review. <br />Dear Mr. Joy, <br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety has begun the full review process of the <br />above referenced I I2c application. A Preliminary Adequacy Review (PAR) has been <br />done. Please review the following and respond with clarifications or corrections as <br />needed. <br />Per Rule 1.6.2(e) the Division requires proof of notice to all adjacent landowners <br />identified in the application. DRMS notes notice to Halliburton Energy but can find no <br />reference to them within the permit. Please clarify. It is also noted that power lines are <br />within 200 feet of the permit area. The power company needs to be noticed and listed in <br />Exhibit S. <br />Per Rule 6.2.1(2)(b) all maps must be signed by a registered land surveyor, professional <br />engineer, or other qualified person, give date prepared and identify and outline the area <br />which corresponds with the application. Staff notes no signatures on any maps provided. <br />Per Rule 6.4 Specific requirements for a 112 Reclamation Operation: <br />6.4.1 - Exhibit A Legal Description, Exhibit appears to be adequate. <br />6.4.2 - Exhibit B, Index Map, is adequate <br />6.4.3 - Exhibit C, Pre-Mining and Mining Maps. <br />(a) Is adequate with exception to Halliburton Energy <br />(b), Appears to be adequate, Pre-op will confirm locations of power lines, etc. <br />(c), Is adequate, <br />(d) Is adequate, <br />(e), Is addressed in Exhibit J <br />(f), Is addressed in Exhibit G <br />(g) Is addressed within Exhibit I. <br />6 //? ? <br />COLORADO <br />D I V I S I O N O F <br />RECLAMATION <br />MINING <br />SAFETY <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
