EXHIBIT E - RECLAMATION PLAN
1. General Reclamation Plan
Map F-1 the Legal Reclamation Plan, the previous photographs, and the photographs in
Appendix A illustrate the pre-mining conditions in the vicinity of the Monogram Mine Permit.
The total disturbed area for this permit is approximately 9.6 acres, of which about 6.8 will be
reclaimed as follows:
• 2.2 acres in the Monogram Mine. area
• 2.4 acres of exploration borehole drilling (sites approx. 35 x 10 ft; 350 sq ft each)
• 2.2 acres in parking, office, and staging area
6.8 total acres to be reclaimed
• 2.8 acres in road improvements for hauling and drilling (left intact at owners request)
2. Monogram Pit and Knob.
There exists very limited topsoil and mostly rock outcrop in the area to be surface mined at the
Monogram Knob and Pit (soil classification 87-Rock outcrop; see Appendix D - Soil Survey)
which encompasses about 2.2 acres. Most overburden/waste rock, will be replaced into the
adjacent void when ore is removed. Any excess waste rock will be placed in an overburden
waste pile confined to about 0.2 acres south of and up-dip from the area to be excavated/mined.
The Knob or area to be mined covers about 1.1 acres and will be excavated and loaded directly
into ore trucks for shipping.
Initially, the floor of the Pit will be deepened as remaining ore is excavated from it. Then the
cap rock from the Knob will be removed and placed in the fully excavated Pit. As each area is
mined, barren waste rock will be distributed across the mined area, contoured to the surrounding
area as shown on Map F-1. Then, available topsoil will be spread and the area will be re-
vegetated with a seed mixture recommended by the Bureau of Land Management. The operator
will post a reclamation bond with DRMS sufficient to ensure reclamation of the site in
accordance with the drilling plan.
3. Exploration Drilling
Although specific numbers of drill holes and their locations will be based upon results, Nuvemco
estimates 300 exploration drill holes will be drilled within the permit boundary depending on the
locations and concentrations of uranium and vanadium found. The holes will be drilled by air
rotary through the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. Locations will be on existing
roads and trails and are not yet plotted, affording the operator the ability to avoid trees and
minimize site preparations. After geophysical and geological sample logging, the holes will be
plugged by backfilling with cuttings, pouring in bentonite from about 8 to 3 feet below ground
surface, and cement to the surface. Any excess drill cuttings or sample piles will be raked into
the surrounding ground and if necessary and soil exists, the ground will be scarified and re-
seeded. A 2 x 2-inch wooden stake with a metal tag will mark the drill site and the actual
Monogram Mine - November 2008
E-1
