<br />4.0 EXHMIT C - PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAPS OF AFFECTED <br />LANDS <br />4.1 Immediately Adjacent Land Owners of Record <br />Property ownership information of immediately adjacent surface landowners of <br />record is shown on site map Exhibit C-2. <br />4.2 Surface Features <br />The primary surface water features within the proposed mine area is Big Dry Creek <br />and the Lupton Bottom and Lupton Meadows Ditch. Minimum mining setbacks will be <br />50 feet. <br />A portion of the permit area is located within the 100-year floodplain of the South <br />Platte River. <br />• There are a number of structures located within 200 feet of the proposed mining <br />stages including the following: <br />• A house and several out buildings (Stewart Residence) located southwest of <br />mining Stage 3. <br />• A house and several out buildings (Schroeder Residence) located west of mining <br />Stage 4 <br />• Anadarko (Kerr-McGee) gas wells, associated tank batteries and gas lines located <br />west of mining Stage 3. See Map Exhibit C-1. <br />• Anadarko (Kerr-McGee) gas wells, associated tank batteries and gas lines located <br />between mining Stages 4 and 5. See Map Exhibit C-1. <br />• Excel owns a high voltage power line that crosses the property east-west. <br />• United Power owns a three-phase power line that is located along the east <br />property line of Morton Lakes. Presently, it is unclear if there is any future need <br />for this line. If it is determined to be of no further use the line will be removed. If <br />the line is in service during mining, the Applicant will seek authorization from <br />. United Power to relocate the line. <br />1
