Bowie Resources, LLC <br />Permit No. 03DL0099F <br />Initial Approval Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br />page 2 Air Pollution Control Division <br />This activity shall not result in the exceedence of the following emissions of fugitive total <br />suspended particulates (TSP) and fugitive particulate matter of less than fen microns (PMra). <br />These emission limits are based on the production rates listed above. The Division assumes that <br />these levels are being met if the control measures stated in the approved control plan are followed <br />and the stated process rates are not exceeded. <br />Total Suspended Particulate 188.15 tons per year. <br />Particulate Matter (PM10) 39.66 tons per year <br />4. A Revised Air Pollutant Emission Notice (APEN) shall be filed: (Reference: Reg. 3, Part A,II.C) <br />a. Annually whenever a significant increase in emissions occurs as follows; <br />For any criteria pollutant: <br />For sources emitting less than 100 tons per year, a change in actual emissions of five <br />tons per year or more, above the level reported on the last APEN submitted; or <br />For any non-criteria reportable pollutant: <br />If the emissions increase by 50°/a or five (5) tons per year, whichever is less, above the <br />fevei reported on the fast APEN submitted to the Division. <br />b. Whenever there is a change in the owner or operator of any facility, process, or activ'gy; or <br />c. Whenever new control equipment is installed, or whenever a different type of control <br />equipment replaces an existing type of control equipment; or <br />d. Whenever a permit limitation must be modifietl; or <br />e. No later than 30 days before the existing APEN expires. <br />5. This permit is for the specified activities only, any process equipment (i.e. crushers, screens, etc.) <br />to be located at this site must have a separate permit from the Division. (Reference: Reg. 3, part <br />B, IV.E.) <br />6. It is the permittee's <br />responsibility to self certify compliance with the conditions. Failure to demonstrate compliance <br />within 180 days may resuk in revocation of the permit. (Information on how to certify compliance <br />was mailed with the permit or can be obtained from the Division at 30392-3209.) <br />7.
