Per Rule 3.1.9(1) and (3) affective erosion control shall be employed to prevent
wind and water erosion as well as stabilization. Because no definitive date can be stated as to completion of this
project seeding the topsoil pile to help prevent erosion is required. The lack of erosion control for topsoil is noted as
a problem at the end of this report with specific dates for correction at the end of this report.
Other than the need for some stormwater controls and topsoil protection the site is neat and clean. No fuel tanks,
structures or equipment are on site. The ore pile while considered by definition as a toxic material is stable and
disturbance to it has been very minimal. No other issues other than those noted were observed.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3`d Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no.
970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Mick Carter
OPERATOR: Nuvemco, LLC.
STREET: 10771 3200 Road
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Hotchkiss, CO 81419
cc:
?
