Any objections
received now would be handled differently. They would have to notify us in writing of something
that is going on at your operation that they perceive to be illegal or in violation of the rules. We
would then be required to conduct a field investigation.
You have 365 days after approval of the application to provide the financial & performance
warranties.
No permits are required from DRMS for explosives. Applicant just needs to comply with Rule
6.3.3(1)(o) regarding offsite damage, which you provided in the application process. I'm not sure
what Fed permits are required but I'll ask around here to see if anybody knows.
David Bird
Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Rm 215
Denver, CO 80203
Tel: 303-866-3567 x8108
Fax: 303-832-8106
email: david.bird@state.co.us
www. mining. state. co. us
From: ventureresources@att.net [mailto:ventureresources@att.net]
Sent: Sunday, November 02, 2008 11:29 AM
To: Bird, David
Subject: Re: Approval of Venture Resources 110(2) permit application, M-2008-037
David,
We have been stalling a bit waiting to see if there where going to be any appeals to the approval of our
mining permit issuance. I haven't heard anything ... so I am assuming at this point things are OK.
11/4/2008
