Backfillina and Grading <br /> The Ash Pit was in the process of backfilling at the time of the inspection. No problems were noted in <br /> the area of the Ash Pit or the area of future Ash disposal. Grading activities have been conducted on <br /> the reclaimed area of F-pit and the tract north of Ute pond. The grades and topsoiled area of the <br /> reclaimed F-pit contained contour ditches. All graded areas were stable with no sign erosion or <br /> damage noted at the time of the inspection. <br /> Support Facilities <br /> The facilities areas of the office and maintenance buildings were in compliance with no problems <br /> noted. The explosives magazine area was stable with no problems at the time of the inspection. The <br /> area in and around the ANFO and Emulsion tanks was stable with no problems noted at the time of <br /> the inspection. <br /> Topsoil <br /> The area of the reclaimed F-pit and the reclaimed area to the north of Ute pond has been graded and <br /> topsoiled. Three topsoil samples were taken at each area to determine the topsoil depth. The three <br /> samples at the F-pit were measured at 14", 13", and 12". The three samples taken at the area north of <br /> Ute pond were measured at 12", 12" and 11". Theses topsoil depths are in compliance for rangeland <br /> topsoil depths according to the Trapper Mine permit and Rule 4.06.4(2). <br /> Reclamation Success <br /> This complete inspection included a follow-up inspection of areas proposed for Phase III bond release <br /> under SL-10. An initial inspection of the area was conducted during the week of 10/13/2008 and <br /> indicated three areas within the proposed Phase III parcel that would need repair. Trapper Mine <br /> initiated and completed the repairs prior to and during this complete inspection per the Division's <br /> request. Theses repairs consisted of repairing small gullies forming in the southern shrub clump of D- <br /> AB-97 which continued north to the middle of the parcel and small gullies forming at the northern end <br /> of H-C-98. <br /> D-AB-97 <br />
