Erickson <br />691 County Road 233, Suite A-2 <br />Durango, CO 81301 <br />Dear Mr. Erickson, <br />We have received your correspondence dated August 4, 2008 and in this letter will <br />respond to the specific points that you raised in that letter. In addition, we are submitting <br />our application in its entirety with this letter, in the hopes that we have completed our <br />application to the satisfaction of the DRMS and that you will find our application to be <br />• complete and in compliance with the myriad of DRMS Rules and Regulations. <br />Pursuant to Rule 1.4.2(2)(b)(iii), a sign has been posted on the site and an affidavit from <br />Palmer Pipe and Construction is included with this letter. The affidavit states the content <br />of the sign. Please let me know if photographic evidence is also necessary. <br />The previous notices that we sent to the La Plata County Commissioners and the Board of <br />Supervisors included all of the information contained within the Board approved forms as <br />required under Rule 1.6.2(1)(a), along with other information pertinent and necessary to <br />this situation. Since there were errors due to my misunderstanding about what the DRMS <br />considers to be the "affected area" (and therefore what the appropriate future use would <br />be) as well as the date for comments, since I had no way of knowing when the application <br />would be considered complete by DRMS, I have recreated the old notices with corrections <br />and added Board approved forms. Please note that these notices were constructed with <br />the intended recipients in mind. Information included and the manner in which it is stated, <br />speaks to county and adjacent owner concerns and requirements. In any case, both notices <br />(mine and the DRMS form) will be resent to the proper parties. <br />A copy of the application with ALL attachments has been deposited with the La Plata <br />County Clerk and Recorder for public inspection and a receipt for it has been included with <br />• this letter.
