Christy Woodward <br />September 17, 2008 <br />Page 9 <br />¦ 300 feet of 3/16 inch nylon packer inflation tubing <br />¦ 500 feet 1/4 inch inside diameter polyethylene tubing (3/8 inch outside diameter) <br />¦ Six 1 inch male threaded PVC end plugs <br />¦ Six 1 inch female threaded PVC well caps (or larger size with appropriate reducer fittings <br />to attached to 1 inch PVC well casing), fitted with 1/4 inch inside diameter tubing inlet and <br />outlet adapters, a packer inflation fitting, and an outlet stop/check valve to restrict artesian <br />flow <br />¦ Six stainless steel borehole packers with 1 inch PVC pipe fitting adapters on both ends of <br />packer <br />¦ Nitrogen pressure regulator or equivalent for packer inflation <br />Groundwater Sampling <br />The following is a list of supplies needed to collect groundwater samples: <br />¦ Peristaltic pump <br />¦ 25 feet of 3/8 inch inside diameter silicon tubing <br />¦ YSI multi-meter capable of analyzing pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen, <br />temperature, and oxidation-reduction potential <br />¦ 0.45 micron membrane filters with 1/4 inch barbed inlet <br />¦ Nitrile gloves <br />¦ Appropriate sample containers with preservatives as provided by Energy <br />¦ Seven 100, mL polyethylene bottles (for tritium sampling) <br />¦ 1 gallon zip lock bags <br />¦ Sample paperwork and sample tags/labels <br />¦ Sample cooler or suitable shipping container <br />¦ Ice <br />Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation ' <br />Groundwater monitoring wells will be installed in open boreholes through bedrock, at an <br />angle of approximately -20 degrees from horizontal.
