M. COMIIIENTS-COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br /> inspection. A French drain has been constructed on the east side of the <br /> channel to allow the seep to drain to the main channel. As seen in the attached photo the rock <br /> drain is working well. Some minor additional work will be required to backfill the top of the <br /> seep and final grade the seep location (see attached photo). SCC is planning to finish the work at <br /> the seep and finalize the channel by placing turf-reinforced mat in the main channel bottom and <br /> side slopes. <br /> Slides and Damage <br /> The slide area above Pond 012 was inspected. The site of the landslide was viewed from the <br /> Pond 012 embankment. No significant additional movement has occurred. The temporary road <br /> installed across the slide area for geotechnical drilling related to the slide and for Pond 012A <br /> construction access remains in place. The Division received Technical Revision No. 38 (TR-38) <br /> on September 25, 2008 for Abatement Step 2 of NOV CV-2008-001. <br />
