please submit the acreages that will require topsoil replacement for each phase area, and how
many acres for each phase will be seeded with each of the seed mixes listed in the approved
reclamation plan. Also we will need to know if final grading has been achieved in the Golden
Phase, either of the Ft Lupton Phases, and if any of the reconstruction work on the Ft Lupton
ditch through the center of the site has been completed. This information will be used along with
the approved reclamation plan and additional information from the site file to determine the
remaining bond required for each phase of the operation. It is our hope that this will simplify the
release process as well, when reclamation for each phase is complete. You are; of course,
welcome and encouraged to submit your own revised, detailed reclamation estimate at this time
so that we may use information from it to guide and confirm the Division's reclamation
assumptions.
This concludes the Division's adequacy review of this revision (TR03). Please remember that the
decision date for this application is October 18, 2008. As previously mentioned, if you are unable
to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies prior to this date, it will be your
responsibility to request an extension of time to allow for continued review of this
application. If there are still unresolved issues when the decision date arrives and no extension
has been requested, the application will be denied.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866-4069
Sincerely,
f"- 'a-
Eric Scott
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Anthony Waldron - Senior Environmental Specialist
