§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES -
MINIM[JM REQVIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION PLANS.
2.05.5 Post-mining Land Uses
(1) Not applicable
(a) Not applicable.
(i) Not applicable. -
(ii) Not applicable.
(iii) Not applicable.
(iv) Not applicable.
(b) Not applicable.
(c) Not applicable.
(2) (a) Reclamation Plan: Postminina Land Uses
Reclamation will be pursued throughout the life of the project.
Upon completion of mining activities all equipment, buildings,
conveyors, etc. will be removed from the landscape. The access
roads will be left in place to better serve the desired post- mining
land use of grazing. All areas of disturbance on private lands
will be cleaned of debris, graded, and revegetated in accordance
with the reasonable desires of the surface owner and in compliance
with applicable laws and regu- lations. The final post-reclamation
land use for the bench areas will be grazing for both livestock and
wildlife. This is consistent with prior and present land use.
The areas in the high country of the surrounding region have high
recreation values and capacities to support recreational activities.
The intermediate hills, within which the mine is located, have
relatively low value and little capacity to support anything other
than dispersed recreational activities.
The proposed post-mining land use is consistent with the historical
land use of the disturbed area and responsive to stability and
drainage considerations.
