' <br /> <br />2.05.4 Reclamation plan, <br />(2) (e) (vi) (Cont'd.) <br />The following species diversity success stan- <br />dard was approved for the existing permit: <br />1. There are at least five native perennial <br />herbaceous species (four native, cool season <br />grasses and one native forb) which have a rel- <br />ative cover or production equal to or greater <br />than 3% each. <br />2. There are at least two native shrub spe- <br />cies, of which neither exceeds a relative den- <br />sity of 80%. <br />3. The five herbaceous species combined will <br />not exceed 90% in relative cover or produc- <br />tion, and any one of the five species will not <br />exceed 60% in relative importance. <br />Harney 5 Associates, inc. completed a Vegeta- <br />• lion ;nven[ory of the area of the Orchard Val- <br />ley West Ptine during July, 1956. <br />Based on the resulted of this study and recom- <br />mendations of Harney fi Associates, ;nc. and <br />the Division, a success standard for revegeta- <br />tion of the Orchard Valley West Hine site of <br />60% ground cover and 450 pounds per acre pro- <br />duction was approved. The remaining provi- <br />sions of the Orchard Valley Mine success stan- <br />dards would be applicable Co [he Orchard Val- <br />lev 'lest Mine site.
