§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND <br />MINING ACTIVITIES -- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION <br />AND RECLAMATION PLANS. <br />2.05.4 Reclamation Plan <br />(2) (e) (iv) <br />Mulching Techniques <br />All seeded areas will be mulched with certified weed free <br />grass hay or straw. Approximately two tons of mulch will be <br />used on each acre seeded. <br />On drilled sites the hay or straw will be crimped with a <br />serrated disc or other appropriate equipment. On steeper <br />slopes and areas where crimping is not feasible, straw or <br />hay will be anchored down using a tackifier. Alternatively a <br />tackifier mixed with wood or wood/paper fiber may be used <br />for mulching in hard to reach areas. Tackifier will be applied <br />in accordance with manufacture's specifications with <br />consideration of the type and quantity of mulch applied, <br />slope, soil conditions and other applicable factors. Netting <br />may be used in very limited areas where it is not possible try <br />apply a tackifier or a tackifier mixed with wood or <br />wood/paper fiber. <br />n~R-ia7 0„~ <br />/jPPROVEp Zfr4~~y ~s <br />
