Air Resource Protection
Road surfaces were damp throughout the facilities area, to effectively control fugitive dust.
Slides & Damage
The landslide located on the western edge of the upper fan bench appears to be stable. The
borrow area slide exhibited some movement during the spring runoff of 2008, but no additional
movement has since been observed. Rather than disturb the toe of the mass, potentially
causing additional movement, OMLLC has opted to leave it as-is (Figure 4). The location of the
material does not impinge upon the mine's operations.
Excess Spoil & Development Waste
Waste dumped at the II West Valley Fill has been worked and compacted. Compaction testing
had been done earlier in the week (Figure 5).
