Therefore, the Division does not <br />have any adequacy comments or concerns that need to be addressed at this time for the <br />reclamation cost estimate included in Section 3.02 of Volume 1. <br />Once the Division has received CAM's responses from this preliminary adequacy review letter, <br />the Division will incorporate any changes into the existing application and will prepare a full- <br />blown reclamation cost estimate at that time. Since some information will likely be revised, we <br />prefer to wait until we receive CAM's response/revisions so we estimate based on the most <br />accurate information. Once the Division has completed our reclamation cost estimate we will <br />inform CAM of any differences in the two estimates and may request addition information or <br />clarification from CAM. <br />The Division's deadline for proposing a decision on this application is October 31, 2008. The <br />Division may, for good cause shown, extend the time for the proposed decision up to an <br />additional 60 days if the application is unusually complex or controversial. Therefore, the <br />Division requests that CAM respond to this letter by October 15, 2008 or request an extension to <br />the October 31, 2008 deadline for proposing a decision. <br />The Division is willing to meet with representatives of CAM to discuss or clarify this letter.
