2. After the first 3.9+ acres are mined and a 1001+
area along the west side of the entrance road has
been backfilled, the entrance road will be shifted
from the existing entrance location to the west on
to the backfilled area and the 3.3+ acres to the
east will be mined. When this mining is completed
and the initial 3.9+ acres backf;illE?d, these 3.3+
acres will be backfilled. Another 1,+ acre area in
the extreme southeast corner. of the site will also
be filled to slightly above the ground water level
to provide for containment of stormwater and for
future construction of a second st:ormwater detention
pond for future industrial development on the site.
3. After mining of the previously described 7.2+ acres,
mining will be undertaken on the :remaining 6.5+
acres, and then backfilled as outlined previously.
4. Upon completion of all mining, reclamation will
continue until final grades as shown on the
accompanying Exhibit F (Revised)-Reclamation Plan
Map. All bank areas (4+ acres) will be revegetated
in accordance with revegetation standards as
outlined in Exhibit E-Reclamation Plan. The flat top
area of the property (9+ acres) will also be
revegetated to the same standards, unless industrial
development has been approved on the entire property
prior to final reclamation being completed. In this
event, this area will be covered with
gravel/recycled asphalt material in anticipation of
future development of the property for commercial
and/or industrial uses. Reclamation will include
design and construction of two stormwater ponds in
the southeast and southwest corners of the property
sized for future industrial development.
Accompanying this Explanation are:
1. Appendix I - Design and Operations Filling Plan
(Submittal Item H), and following full. sized maps as
Sheets 1-4: Exhibit C - Pre-Mining Map, original
Exhibit C-1 - Mining Plan Map, Exhibit C-1
(Revised) -Mining Plan Map illustrating the revised
Direction of Mining, Phases, and Retention-Future
Detention Pond Areas, and Exhibit F (Revised) with
the Future Detention Pond Areas.
6
