Page 2
to the confidentiality waiver that was submitted by Kye Abraham to David Berry regarding
the NOI, all information contained on this DVD/CD is the public file and contains all
information related to the operations and any environmental problems related to the Golden
Wonder mine and extension area. Please note, the NOI information has just recently been
made non-confidential, therefore, prior to the confidentiality waiver, DRMS was barred by
statute from discussing the NOI at any public meetings with the BLM, Hinsdale County and
the Watershed Stakeholder Group. In response to request c.), all information related to the
Ute-Ule mine and environmental problems has been provided on a DVD/CD. Again, this is
the information available in the file.
2.) All documents reflecting the contents of any meetings attended by an employee in the
DRMS and a member or representative of the Lake Fork Watershed Stakeholders Group in
Hinsdale County.
Enclosed, please find all related e-mail correspondence related to Stakeholder meetings
attended by a DRMS representatives. All other correspondence between DRMS and the
Stakeholders Group regarding the contents of meetings will be found in the full public file, if
any exist. Again, notes from meetings with the Stakeholders Group were either not
generated or not kept. Although DRMS staff has been invited to, and attended, meeting with
the Stakeholders group, it is my understanding that DRMS involvement was minimal. I am
unable to compile a list of all meetings in which DRMS was in attendance. If agendas or
minutes were provided to DRMS, they have been included for your review. In addition, Ms.
Kirstin Brown with the Inactive Mine Program (IMP) attends these meetings. Any
information that Ms. Brown has regarding the content of these meeting has been sent for
review.
3.) All correspondence, including e-mail correspondence, between any employee of DRMS
and the Lake Forks Watershed Stakeholders Group.
Enclosed, please find all related e-mail correspondence between DRMS and the Stakeholders
Group. E-mail correspondence with the Stakeholders Group was minimal. All other
correspondence between DRMS and the Stakeholders Group will be found in the full public
file, if any exist. Again, any correspondence that Ms. Brown had with the Stakeholders
Group has been included.
4.) All correspondence, including e-mails, between DRMS and the BLM relating to the
proposal from LKA to conduct an exploratory mining project in Hinsdale County.
Enclosed, please find all related e-mail correspondence between DRMS and the BLM. All
other correspondence between DRMS and the BLM will be found in the full public file, if
any exist. The a-mails include discussions of meetings to which DRMS was invited and
attended. Specifically, a-mails dated July 18, 2008 from Valois Shea with the EPA discussed
a July 31, 2007 meeting at the BLM office and an e-mail dated April 1, 2008 discusses an
interagency meeting at CDPHE. Again, the confidentiality waiver regarding the NOI was
just recently submitted by Mr. Abraham to DRMS, therefore, prior to this waiver DRMS was
