Please demonstrate compliance with Rule 4.05.16(4) for discharges of underground water
to the surface.
BRL - Rule 4.05.16(4) states that the discharge from an underground mine to surface
waters will not cause, result in or contribute to a violation of applicable water quality
standards or effluent limitations. Since the voter is to be discharged through outfall 006,
the water quality will be handled by TR-54.
11. DRMS - Attached is a comment letterthat the Division received from the Colorado Division
of Water Resources concerning TR-53. That agency has no concerns with the proposed
activities provided that the pumped water is not used in anyway and that it is discharged to
Hubbard Creek as proposed. If and when any additional comment letters are received,
they will be forwarded to BRL.
BRL - No comment required.
Amended page 2.05-35i and Map 9 are enclosed.
Sincerely,
J.
