IV. Problems, Recommendations and Compliance Dates
The operator is advised that the following problems have been identified
during inspections. and that failure to correct the problems may result in the
Division taking an ENFORCEMENT ACTION pursuant to CRS 1973, as amended,
34-33-123. (Recommendations and compliance dates are to be clearly noted.
Dates are to be specific, e.g. , January 31, 1983 and underlined:
017-83-1 Coal must be cleaned up from the undisturbed area below the Mine
No. 2 Coal Stockpile when snow has melted to allow clean-up without
unnecessary disturbance to existing vegetation. A buffer strip 30 feet wide
is to be established and maintained between stockpiled coal and the disturbed
boundary to allow for future clean-up.
