THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE DOES NOT NEED TO BE HELD CONFIDENTIAL
Exhibit C-AMSO,LLC Notice of Intent Supplemental Information
Proposed Drill Pads
Three drill pads(TP,HB,and MWP-2)will be constructed at the locations shown in
Figures A.1 and A.2 (Exhibit,A)to accommodate drilling and testing operations. A third
existing drill pad(MWP-1)will also be used to support testing operations;however,no
additional land will be disturbed or new wells will be installed on the pad under this NOI.
Drill Pad TP will be constructed immediately west of the existing BLM road in the
central portion of the project site. The pad will be used to construct drill holes designed
to characterize geologic and hydrogeologic conditions above, within, and below the
target process testing interval. The target process testing interval corresponds to the
illite-rich zone, which based on existing site information, is present in the lower Green
River Formation.
Drill Pad TP will be constructed as shown in Drawings D.1 and D.2(Exhibit D). The
disturbed area for the Drill Pad TP wilI be approximately 4.6 acres, including a 250 feet
by 425 feet pad and associated soil stock pile. All fill areas will be properly compacted
to minimize the potential for'subsidence or slope failure. To reduce erosion and soil loss,
ditches and berms will be constructed to divert stormwater away from the pad. Silt
fencing and/or other sediment retention measures will be used to reduce sediment
migration from the disturbed, area. A lockable gate per BLM specifications will be
installed at the entrance to the pad to prevent unauthorized access to the pad.
• Drill Pad 14B will be constructed as shown in Drawings D.3 and DA(Exhibit D). The
disturbed area for the Drill Pad TP will be approximately 3.4 acres, including a 195 feet
by 385 feet pad and associated soil stockpile. All fill areas will be properly compacted to
minimize the potential for subsidence or slope failure. To reduce erosion and soil loss,
ditches and berms will be constructed to divert stormwater away from the pad. Silt
fencing and/or other sediment retention measures will be used to reduce sediment
migration from the disturbed area. A lockable gate per BLM specifications will be
installed at the entrance to the pad to prevent unauthorized access to the pad.
Drill Pad MWP-2 will be constructed as shown in Drawings DA and D.5 (Exhibit D).
The disturbed area for the MWP-2 Pad will be approximately 1.9 acres, including a 180
feet by 180 feet pad.and associated soil stockpile. All fill areas will be properly
compacted to minimize the potential for subsidence or slope failure. To reduce erosion
and soil loss, ditches and berms will be constructed to divert stormwater away from the
pad. Silt fencing and/or other sediment retention measures will be used to reduce
sediment migration from the disturbed area. A lockable gate per BLM specifications will
be installed at the entrance to the pad to prevent unauthorized access to the pad.
A 12-foot deep containment pit measuring 30 feet wide by at least 150 feet long will be
constructed on each of the three new drill pads. Pits will be placed to avoid fill areas.
Where fill area cannot be avoided,at least 50 percent of the pit will be constructed below
the original ground level As required per lease stipulations, each pit will be Mined, fenced
on all four sides with net-wire,and covered with plastic barrier to exclude both large and
4
