OFFICE
RF ;? .t ,,,?t; A WETY
Re: Anderson Pit - Permit No. M-2005-021, Technical Revision Request
Dear Mr. Shuey,
United Companies requests a Technical Revision for the Anderson Pit to allow placement
of an irrigation structure in an existing irrigation ditch within the Anderson permit
boundary. This ditch provides water to the adjacent Fredland property. Western Gravel is
in the process of reclaiming the Fredland Pit. The reclamation plan for the adjacent
Fredland pit property shows the structure in a different location. A short run of new ditch
needs constructed as well to connect the structure to an old existing ditch. The proposed
relocation of this irrigation structure was chosen by Mr. Fredland during a site meeting
held Thursday, May15, 2008, attended by Mr. Fredland, Willis from Western Gravel, and
Brent from United Co. This location is satisfactory to United Companies.
Enclosed is a sketch of the United permit area showing the existing ditch, the proposed
location of the irrigation structure, and the short run of new ditch. If you have questions or
need more information let me know.
Sincerely,
Brent Kerr
United Co.
