These pipelines have since been changed over to gas and/or water
useage.
On October 5, 2005, an application was received for conversion of sodium lease facilities to be converted
to a right-of-way use. This action would be an amendment to the existing right-of-way COC62884. The
facilities to be included are listed below:
1) Approximately 9.0 acre fenced plant site:
2) Approximately 44,100 square foot process building located with the fenced plant site;
3) Approximately 8,000 square foot two story administration building with in the fenced plant site;
4) Approximately 14,400 square foot helipad which is adjacent to, but located outside the fenced
plant site; and
5) Approximately 1 acre storm water pond located adjacent to, but outside of the fenced plant
site.
,,6) The paved access road that leaves County Road 5 and continues approximately 2.1 miles to
the fenced plant site. The width of the access road is 24 feet.
A reclamation bond will be required to cover items that were under the sodium mine lease. These
facilities currently have a reclamation bond of $1,887,000.00 provided by American Soda. This bond
amount shall be carried forward by the right-of-way holder (see Exhibit A). Final reclamation of the site
shall occur as outlined in the approved 1999 Commercial Mind Plan for the Yankee Gulch Sodium
Minerals Project.
