DIVISION 1- GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />SECTION 01600 - MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br />1.01 GENERAL <br />Where possible, the Contractor shall provide the entire required quantities of each product from a single <br />source. <br />1.02 SPECIFIC MATERIALS AND "ACCEPTED SUBSTITUTES" <br />The Contractor may substitute a material or product other than those specified by name or brand, provided <br />that requests are submitted and accepted by the Engineer. <br />1.03 PROPRIETARY PRODUCTS <br />Specifying of proprietary products is not meant to exclude competition, but is intended to set a minimum <br />standard. The words "or accepted substitute" are implied after any proprietary name. Substitutions will be <br />considered according to specified substitution procedures. <br />1.04 PRODUCTS LIST <br />A list of all products to be incorporated in the work, with specific manufacturer's name and reference <br />number, is to be furnished to the Engineer. <br />END OF SECTION <br />2/08 Section 01600 -Page 1 of 1
