6.4 SPECIFIC EXHIBIT REQUIREMENTS -REGULAR 112 OPERATIONS <br />The following items must be addressed by the applicant in order to satisfy the <br />requirements of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sey. and the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board: <br />6.4.1 EXHIBIT A - Leal Description <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />6.4.2 EXHIBIT B -Index Map <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />6.4.3 EXHIBIT C -Pre-mininE and Minim Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br />This section is adequate as submitted <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D -Minim Plan <br />In part "a." of the mining plan, it states that topsoil will be removed from the mine area <br />and segregated. In the soil survey provided by the Soil Conservation Service, for each of <br />the representative soil series found in the area anywhere from 0-10 inches, to 0-8 inches <br />of topsoil exists. Please indicate the approximate thickness or depth of the topsoil that <br />will be removed and segregated? It is important that as much topsoil will be salvaged <br />during the mining process, it is recommended that during the operation that on average <br />10 to 8 inched of topsoil will be salvages where it is available. Please indicate on a <br />mining plan map where the topsoil will be stockpiled and please describe how it will be <br />kept safe from damage or contamination from the mining activities. <br />In part "c." of the mining plan, it states that water diversions and impoundments will be <br />constructed to prevent storm water runoff. Some clarification is needed for these <br />diversions and impoundments. How big will these diversions and impoundments be, and <br />will they retain any water? If the diversions and impoundments will be large, please <br />provide a map showing the locations of these structures. Please note, that if any surface <br />water is captured by impoundments it must be released or allowed to infiltrate with in 72 <br />hours. If it becomes necessary to pump or release water that is held for more than 72 <br />hours, a discharge permit maybe required. Please explain how captured water will be <br />handled. <br />Please submit a mining plan map to clarify the mining operation. Please indicate on the <br />map the direction the earthmoving will occur. Indicate where water diversions and <br />impoundments will be located. Please indicate where overburden and topsoil will be <br />segregated and where the mined material will be processed. <br />6.4.5 EXHIBIT E -Reclamation Plan <br />
