This construction activity will result <br />in 8 direct and induced local jobs in Teller County, 19 total jobs in the region, and 23 total jobs <br />statewide. These figures rise significantly from 2009 through 2011, when expenditures will <br />range from $16 million to almost $30 million per year for Phase 5 construction, county road re- <br />location, utilities relocation, water supply, and other facilities replacements or relocations. Table <br />11 shows the impacts of this expansion effort in 2007. In the peak year of 2009, local employ- <br />ment effects will be 239 jobs. <br />20 <br />
