PUBLIC NOTICE <br />American Soda L.L.P.; 2717 County Road 215, Parachute, Colorado 81635, <br />(970) 285-6500, has filed an application for an Amendment to its Regular (112d) <br />reclamation permit from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under <br />provisions of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act. The mine is known as the <br />Yankee Gulch Sodium Minerals Mine, and is located at or near Section 20, <br />Township 1 South, Range 97 West, 6`h Principle Meridian, Rio Blanco County, <br />Colorado. <br />The proposed amendment is to change the post-mining use of 26.1 acres of land <br />from Rangeland to Industrial/Commercial. Additional information and tentative <br />decision date may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567, <br />or at the Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder's office; 555 Main Street, Meeker, <br />Colorado, or the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office; 108 8~' Street, <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado, or the above named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety by 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2008. <br />
