Reclamation <br />activities have been concurrent with mining and, consistent with the approved reclamation plan,- the <br />site now includes a 65-acre lined water storage reservoir. .The remaining .site acreage consists of <br />reservoir shoreline, access roads, and previously-undisturbed areas. <br />Connell Resource-s, Inca is requesting the water storage reservoir has been lined to .the design <br />standard. reference-d in the August 1999 State Engineer Guidelines for Lining Criteria for Gravel Pits <br />and approved by the Office of the State Engineer (see attached letter). In .addition, the reservoir. <br />shorelines anti aiher distui~Ded areas have Been graded and seeded. <br />Reclamation- activities have been concurrent with mining. The .site has been backfilled, graded <br />and revegetated consistent with Exhibit E, Reclamation Plan, of the Permit- Application. The <br />. owner seeded the areas surrounding the ponds with pasture grasses consistent~with the final land- , <br />- use, and the vege~~tative cover is presently doing well.. ~ - <br />Tn compliance with Subsections 3.1.1 through 3.1.4 of Section 3.1, Reclamation Performance <br />Standards, Construction Material Rules and Regulations, apost-minim, land use was established <br />for the site, approved by the Office, and a reclamation plan was formulated.
