The mixes will be <br />customized per location to optimize reclamation success. <br />The above seed mixes will also include a mix of native forts from the following list: Coreposis lancelota, <br />Lupinus argentus, Phlox drummondii, Thermopsis Montana, Penstemon strictus, Vicia americanus, Achilles <br />millefolium var. occidentalis (at a very low rate), Asterchilensis, Erigeron speciosus, Eriogunum umbellatum <br />or Geranium viscosissimum. <br />The precise (orbs to be included will be prescribed on a case-by-case basis, as the particular site conditions <br />dictate. At least 3 fort species will be included in each mix. <br />The seed mix must be 99% pure live seed and be weed free. <br />Land Use and Recreation <br />9. Harassment of livestock and wildlife is prohibited. If stock is in the project area, extra <br />precautions must be taken by the operator and their contractors to ensure that stock are <br />not pushed out of the currently occupied grazing unit. <br />10. The Operator will be held responsible for all damage to fences, cattle guards, resource <br />improvements, roads, and other structures on NFS lands that result from their <br />operations. The Forest Service must be notified of damages as soon as possible. <br />Transportation <br />11. All road use and maintenance on the Forest Service portion of the Hubbard Canyon <br />Road must be performed according to Bowie's existing Forest Service Road Use Permit. <br />12. During drilling operations, the Hubbard Creek Road will be closed to public motorized <br />access. This road will be signed and blocked as directed by the Forest Service. <br />Hazardous Waste <br />13. The Operator and/or their contractors will be responsible for prevention, containment and <br />remediation of any spills of fuels, oil, and other hazardous materials. Any spills of fuels, <br />oil, and other hazardous materials that must be reported to other agencies must also be <br />reported to the USFS immediately. Immediate containment and clean-up will be <br />required consistent with Bowie's Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures <br />(SPCC) Plan. Any contaminated soil will be removed from the Forest prior to <br />reclamation. <br />14. Disposal of sewage and trash will be at an authorized disposal site off the Forest. <br />Portable toilets must be provided for personnel working on the drill sites. <br />Health and Safety <br />15. Bowie is responsible for using appropriate MUTCD traffic control devices when any <br />heavy equipment is moved on Forest Roads. Bowie will post warning signs, at locations <br />designated by the USFS, to warn the public of increased traffic on roads resulting from <br />project activities. Additional security and public safety measures may be considered and <br />approved or directed by the District Ranger. <br />16. The Operator will comply with any fire restrictions in effect at the time of proposed <br />operations. The Forest Service reserves the right to suspend operations during periods <br />
