The decision reduces the total bond amount held
for the entire loadout facility from $92,720.00 to $15,453.00. The amount being held
represents the costs necessary to revegetate the slope within that portion of the loadout
facility that is outside of the Diamond A Parcel.
The findings documented in the proposed decision were verified by AFO during an
October 6, 1993, bond release inspection of the adjacent North Thompson Creek
C-81-025 Permit Area. No other federal agency concurrence is necessary for this bond
release. The public comment period for the proposed decision expired on January 15,
1994, and no public comments were received by DMG. DMG's proof of publication for the
Proposed Decision was received by AFO on January 10, 1994, and concluded the
documentation necessary for OSM to provide concurrence on the proposed bond release.
AFO extends our thanks to your staff for coordinating this bond release request through
our office. Please address any questions concerning this action to Henry Austin or
Stephen Rathbun at (505) 766-1486.
