III. COMMENTS •COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br /> during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br /> and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division). This processing and loadout site has been <br /> inactive since June 2001 after the closure of the Lorencito Mine (#C-96-084). Ground <br /> conditions on this day were damp due to recent rains and the weather was hot. <br /> Signs and Markers <br /> The mine was actively establishing additional mine identification signs along Highway 12 at <br /> entrances to the mine site.
