Section 02223 - Filling <br /> PART 2: PRODUCTS <br /> Not Used. <br /> PART 3: EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 CLEARING <br /> A. Clear areas required for access to site and execution of Work. <br /> B. Remove trees, shrubs, and other vegetative growth within the required areas. <br /> Remove stumps and roots greater than 1/2-inch in diameter to a depth of 6 inches. <br /> C. Remove man-made structures, if applicable, including fencing and fence posts <br /> completely from both above and below ground surfaces. <br /> D. All clearing shall be completed prior to the start of any grading operations. <br /> E. Clearing shall extend laterally beyond excavation and berm slopes a minimum of 10 <br /> feet. <br /> 3.02 TOPSOIL REMOVAL <br /> A. Topsoil shall be removed from cleared areas to a depth approved by the Owner.
