5. Upon completion of the first lift during fill operations; <br /> 6. Upon completion of topsoil application; <br /> 7. Upon completion of the first furrow and track hoe gouges; <br /> 8. Upon initiation of revegetation operations. <br /> ADDITIONAL BID ITEMS <br /> There are included on the Bid Schedule, several additional bid items. These bid items are not <br /> guaranteed, and will be used only in the event that funds allow, and only after approved by the <br /> PROJECT MANAGER. The additional bid items for this project include: <br /> Task 6: Scrap Removal <br /> A large volume of metallic scrap is located to the west of the mine entry. Please provide a price to <br /> remove all of the metallic scrap from the area designated by PROJECT MANAGER. The scrap <br /> material may be removed from the site by the CONTRACTOR for salvage value, or it may be <br /> buried at the base of designated coal refuse fill area after all topsoil has been salvaged and <br /> removed from the disposal area. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for payment. Payment for this task will be reflected in a lump sum <br /> bid under Item 6 on the Bid Schedule. This lump sum bid will cover all costs for the removal of all <br /> metallic scrap from the area designated by PROJECT MANAGER. Payment shall be as this task <br /> is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Such payment shall be considered full <br /> compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary and incidental to <br /> the completion of Task 6. <br />
