<br />Revegetation <br />;?4 s?'r! •- ? of _ ? <br />i <br />The operator has been actively <br />spraying knapweed, thistle, and <br />houndstongue on the reclaimed <br />area. Walkover of problem <br />areas revealed many plants <br />showing signs of wilting due to <br />treatment. Some plants may <br />have been missed or require a <br />second application. Areas BA-1, <br />W-4, and C-1 are contiguous <br />areas where knapweed has <br />been previously identified and <br />treated. In particular, the north- <br />facing, steep reclaimed slopes <br />east of Fill 8 but generally west <br />of area N-3 had numerous <br />noxious weeds of the three species mentioned and appears to need immediate attention. <br /> <br />Areas seeded late last fall are showing excellent signs of vegetative growth (see above right).
