une 17, 2008
Mr. Jason Musick
Re: Phase II and Phase III Cultural Resources Investigation
Page 2
The report serves as proof that the cultural resources inventory has been completed for all coreholes
proposed as part of NOI X-2008-229-01. Please note that copies of the report were sent directly to
Bureau of Land Management and Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
In accordance with Rule 3.05.2(1), CCR has submitted a performance bond to assure satisfactory
reclamation of the proposed coal exploration disturbance permitted under NOI X-2008-229-01. The
corporate surety, Bond No. 6510628, in the amount of $101,857.00, also covers Phase 11 and Phase
III exploration activities.
This cultural resources investigation submittal addresses the outstanding condition for approval of
the Phase II exploration activities. Therefore, CCR respectively requests that the Division amend
NOI X-2008-229-01 to permit Phase II exploration activities.
If you or any members of the Division's staff have any questions or concerns, please call nic at 970-
871-6125.
Regards
Hydro-Environmental Solutions, Inc.
(on behalf of Colorado Coal Resources, LLC.)
John C.
