General duties involve working with analytical <br />department supervisors on a daily basis to prioritize client projects and QA/QC deadlines and to track sample <br />analyses in order to maintain acceptable turn-around-times for project completion. The Production Manager <br />also addresses personnel, instrumentation, and reagent/supply issues that may affect the completion of the <br />scheduled work and works directly with the QA/QC department to ensure all Quality System requirements <br />pertaining to production are successfully completed in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities are <br />described in FRMAD060. <br />1 • Conduct weekly meeting with Production Supervisors to discuss current and upcoming workload, <br />scheduling, priority projects, QC requirements, instrument / equipment issues, personnel, etc. <br />• Schedule QA/QC work (MDL studies, DOCs, PT sample analysis, SOP revisions, etc.) with department <br />supervisors in order to ensure QA/QC requirements are kept up-to-date. <br />• Meet at least quarterly with the President and QA/QC Officer. <br />• Communicate with Project Managers regarding project/instrument status. Notify PMs if problems exist <br />that may affect the project completion date. <br />• Work with marketing/client service representatives on production aspects of proposals. <br />• Work with Project Managers and the QA/QC Officer to resolve client feedback regarding data quality. <br />• Perform checks of sample status using LIMS database to help the laboratory staff meet all established hold <br />times and to determine that analyses can proceed as scheduled to meet required turn around times. <br />• Provide hands-on support to analysts when necessary to ensure timely completion of all laboratory work, <br />and develop contingency plans to ensure workflow progresses as planned. <br />• Work with QA/QC Officer to develop and improve training protocols, conduct department work sessions <br />to address specific problems and questions. <br />' Qualifications: <br />.. • General knowledge of the analytical test methods <br />• Minimum four (4) years of laboratory experience <br />• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience <br />• General knowledge of lab-wide systems (including but not limited to log-in and reporting) <br />970-879-6590 <br />Downhill Drive www.acz.com <br />1 <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 www.a.com <br />t
