• this building includes discs, harrowers, rakes, hay wagons, seed
drills, etc. Hay may also be stored in this building, particularly
hay of lesser quality than hay anticipated to be stored in the
maintenance building. Hay stored in this building would be more
exposed to inclement weather and therefore, some loss of the hay
would result.
Bath House - This building has the potential to serve in at least two
different manners for the cattle ranching operation. First, it may
continue to serve its current function as a bath house and laundry
facility for the ranch employees. Second, it has the potential to be
used as a veterinary facility for livestock which need to be
segregated from the herd and require special care.
The other areas as listed above to be retained as commercial land use
after mining is completed are anticipated to remain as open areas that are
not to be topsoiled or seeded, but will be graveled to provide erosion
• control. These support facilities are depicted on Exhibit 3.6-7 and are
anticipated or have the potential to be used as follows:
Coal Stockpile/Eauioment Storage/Fuel Tank Area - This area is
anticipated to remain as an open area. The area has the potential to
be used impart as a livestock corral. The area is centrally located
on the property and also provides easy access for semi-trucks to load
and unload livestock as needed. The corral will primarily be used
when livestock are to be removed from the operation or when new
livestock are brought on to the property.
Suoolv Yard - This area is anticipated or has the potential to serve
as a veterinary/horse corral located directly behind the veterinary
clinic. It is anticipated that horses needed to operate the ranch
would be housed in this area. Stalls may be added to the corral area
to provide the animals with protection from inclement weather.
• The West Ridge, Center Ridge and Moffat sediment ponds will be
retained as developed water resources for livestock watering.
