<br />razorback sucker from the same genetic parentage as their wild counterparts <br />such that, if these fish are genetically unique by subbasin or individual <br />population, then separate stocks will be available for future augmentation. <br />Such augmentation may be a necessary step to prevent the extinction of <br />razorback suckers in the Upper Basin. <br />Critical Habitat <br />10 <br />Critical habitat has been designated within the 100-year floodplain of the <br />razorback sucker's historical range in the following sections of the Upper <br />Basin (59 F.R. 13374). <br />Colorado, Moffat County. The Yampa River and its 100-year floodplain <br />from the mouth of Cross Mountain Canyon in T. 6 N., R. 98 W., section 23 <br />(6th Principal Meridian) to the confluence with the Green River in <br />T. 7 N., R. 103 W., section 28 (6th Principal Meridian). <br />Utah. Uintah County: and Colorado. Moffat County. The Green River and <br />its 100-year floodplain from the confluence with the Yampa River in <br />T. 7 N., R. 103 W., section 28 (6th Principal Meridian) to Sand Wash in <br />T. 11 S., R. 16 E., section 20 (6th Principal Meridian). <br />Utah, Uintah. Carbon, Grand, Emery. Wayne, and San Juan Counties. The <br />• Green River and its 100-year floodplain from Sand Wash at river mile 96 <br />at T. 11 S., R. 18 E., section 20 (6th Principal Meridian) to the <br />confluence with the Colorado River in T. 30 S., R. 19 E., section 7 <br />(6th Principal Meridian). <br />Utah, Uintah County. The White River and its 100-year floodplain from <br />the boundary of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation at river mile 18 <br />in 7. 9 S., R. 22 E., section 21 (Salt Lake Meridian) to the confluence <br />with the Green River in T. 9 S., R 20 E., section 4 (Salt Lake Meridian). <br />Utah, Uintah County. The Duchesne River and its 100-year floodplain from <br />river mile 2.5 in T. 4 S., R. 3 E., section 30 (Salt Lake Meridian) to <br />the confluence with the Green River in T. 5 S., R. 3 E., section 5 <br />(Uintah Meridian). <br />Colorado, Delta and Mesa Counties. The Gunnison River and its 100-year <br />floodplain from the confluence with the Uncompahgre River in T. 15 S., <br />R. 96 W., section 11 (6th Principal Meridian) to Redlands Diversion Dam <br />in T. 1 S., R. 1 W., section 27 (Ute Meridian). <br />Colorado, Mesa and Garfield Counties. The Colorado River and its <br />100-year floodplain from Colorado River Bridge at exit 90 north off <br />Interstate 70 in T. 6 S., R. 93 W., section 16 (6th Principal Meridian) <br />to Westwater Canyon in T. 20 S., R. 25 E., section 12 (Salt Lake <br />Meridian) including the Gunnison River and its 100-year floodplain from <br />the Redlands Diversion Dam in T. 1 S., R. 1 W., section 27 (Ute Meridian) <br />to the confluence with the Colorado River in T. 1 S., R. 1 W., section 22 <br />• (Ute Meridian). <br />
