Dear Candace:
Enclosed is the background data and current status
of mine bench-road program. The actual work was done in
September and October , 1984 , on both the mine bench road
test sections and the three vegetation test plot areas .
These three projects are actually interrelated, as the vegeta-
tion test plots will be used as guidelines to reclaim the
mine bench/road systems.
I made up both packages in January, 1985 and I don' t
believe I mailed them to Jim; but at this point I don' t
remember why. In the spring (June) we can physically inspect
these sites and you will have a- better understanding of
the combination plot and how the whole test section area
looks.
