When considering this adjacent area it becomes apparent <br /> that these two watersheds will experience radically different <br /> . impacts from the mining operation. The Coal Creek drainage <br /> will continue to be directly affected by the mining operations <br /> as the mine portals, surface facilities , coal processing <br /> plant, and roadways are all located within the drainage. <br /> Impact on the Clear Fork and East Muddy Creek drainage will, <br /> in general, be. minimal as all of the coal mining will be <br /> subsurface and at depth.
