The following responses <br />are addressed in the same order as in your letter of May 1, 2008. <br />Exhibits A, B, and C were adequate; no comments necessary. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />(c) The applicant will install all pertinent erosion and sedimentation controls <br />prior to any surface disturbances. Controls shall be the appropriate BMP <br />as described in the SWMP for the site. Silt fencing, berms, ditches <br />strawbales, etc...will be installed and maintained in active mine and <br />operations areas and along site access roads. <br />Portions (the flatter areas) of the current "old pit" area at the site will be <br />used for processing and stockpiling activities. The landowner (Cliff <br />Henderson) has undetermined post-mining (future) plans to use the <br />level ground and some slope areas of the "old pit" for corrals, <br />pens/paddocks and possible misc. ranch buildings and/or structures. <br />All other areas in the "old pit" areas will be reclaimed. Topsoil is not <br />available in the "old pit" area and will need to be imported from other
