Rock Tunnel Area Water Control Structures <br /> Sediment ponds totaling 1011 acre feet have been <br /> designed to be built in Dutch Creek below the rock disposal <br /> area in the alluvium of Dutch Creek and designed in accord- <br /> ance with CMLRB regulations . The sediment ponds will be <br /> constructed in the stream alluvium where vegetation is <br /> sparse . The ponds will be located outside of 100 foot Dutch <br /> Creek buffer zone on a bench approximately 25 feet above the <br /> stream channel . Runoff from a 2-year, 24-hour storm event <br /> will be conveyed to the ponds by a 2 , 800 foot long perimeter <br /> • diversion ditch system which will be located above the 100- <br /> year flood plain . <br /> Sediment and runoff facilities consisting of a multi- <br /> plate pipe culvert with a cross sectional area of 158 square <br /> feet, a temporary 10 ` diameter culvert , a perimeter ditch <br /> and a series of sedimentation ponds will be constructed . <br /> The multi-plate pipe will be located in the South Fork <br /> of Dutch Creek and has been constructed in accordance with <br /> U. S . Forest Service design specifications . <br /> The temporary 10 ' diameter culvert draining a tributary <br /> to the South Fork of Dutch Creek has been designed to convey <br /> i <br />
