9. Completion date. The project, as noted in Item 7, is projected to be completed by late summer/early fall
of 2009.
10. Location of stockpiles for topsoil, overburden, etc, if any. Exploration pad construction will start
with removal of "A" and "B" horizon material. The soil "material will be salvaged and stored, in
an area that will be undisturbed, along the uphill margin of the exploration pad. The soil material
T. •7__ •77 L 7,. ,7 '•7 "i.~-.,~.,;1" 'ir ~rr~~ Tiani7 yvL µlter, nl~ nl~ f7Y YPYI'1? Drainage control on site. Drainage control at the drill-sites will be through an integrated system, using
grading and berms to limit and control surface runofT mud pits excavated within the footprint of the pad to
contain all d~=ruing jluids;-and-either-rock<check-dams,_siltfenc_e.Lor_.s_iraw bales/wattles installed at the low
point of the drill- pad to contain sediment and control any discharge.
' 12. All roads to be used for project, and existing conditions of roads; and anticipated improvements: Primary
access to the, proposed exploration area will be via existing Rouit County Road 27, southeast of Hayden,
Colorado. As shown on Map 1, existing Roach County Roads 27, 27A, SIC and SID, as well as existing
graveled coal mine haul roads and unimproved ranch roads and jeep trails will be utilized to access
exploratio~z drill-sites within the exploration area. CCR has specifically sited proposed drill-sites adjacent
to existing roads and in areas of previous disturbance in order to minimize any new disturbance associated
with the proposed exploration activities.
There may be limited instances where direct access to a proposed drill-site is not possible using the
exisiing road network. In these circumstances, drilling equipment will be moved overland the short
distance between the existing roadway and proposed exploration pad wiihout constructing a new road. In
accordance with Rules 2.02.2(2)(j~ and 4.2I.4(3)(a) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for
Coal Mining, vehicular travel on other than established graded and surfaced roads will be limited to that
absolactely necessafy to conduct the explo~^ation. Travel. will be confzned to graded and surfaced roads
during periods when excessive damage to vegetation or rutting of the land surface could result from such
travel.
