The detailed reclamation cost estimate has been
submitted.
2. Topsoil will be placed just above (north) of the main
transfer point (Geo-Hydro Sheet 3 of 7, revised). Eighteen
inches of topsoil will be removed from the conveyor route and
bin area, totaling 18,333 cubic yards. Twenty-four inches of
topsoil will be removed from the tunnel face-up area totaling
2,222 cubic yards; all this material will be in one stockpile
(20,555 cubic yards).
3. We are proposing to store the 64,000 cubic yards of
underground development waste generated by construction of the
new bins and conveyor tunnel at the rock tunnel existing pile.
We are also proposing to deposit an additional 60,000 cubic
yards of rock waste from the rock tunnel extension: i.e., the
No. 2 Mine slopes to the west side of Huntsman Ridge. We have
contacted Geo-Hydro to revise the design for the rock tunnel
storage area. They are presently waiting on us as we are try-
ing to finish the engineering design of the proposed tunnel
size, length, etc. This is not as easy as it might sound, as
it involves the proposed future air flow in No. 1 Mine and No.
2 Mine, as well as the possibility of No. 3 Mine. For this
reason we would request a 30- to 60-days delay on submitting
the pile re-design.
4. Maps showing pre-mining and postmining contours are
included 8~ x 11; they are copies of portions .of Sheets 3 of
? and 6 of ?. See originals in Geo-Hydro submittal.
~~:~ _ ...
