Reclamation Completed Durin 2g_ 007:
The area opened at Site 7 on the Two Point claim was closed, re-contoured, and reseeded.
Silt fences were installed below the reclaimed area. Field checks in October 2007 showed
good growth.
Trees were planted on Sites 1, 2, and 14 on Qui-Buc No. 1. Fifty ponderosa and ten
Douglas fir were planted early May and all showed good growth in October with over
90% survival. Approximately 30 mixed meadow rose, mountain mahogany, and wax
currant were also planted on this site. Grass which was planted during 2006 is well
established. These sites now exhibit over 80% coverage. The silt fences will be removed
summer of 2008.
The access road to Colorado Calumet claims was water-barred and reseeded. Growth is
good. The road will be reclaimed in approximately 2011.
Proposed 2008 Operations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on Colorado Calumet Company claims
and Glacier Peak Mining claims between early May through early August. Mechanized
operations will be limited to 10 working days on the Crystaljack claims. We will use a
John Deere 992 and/or 690 track hoe on the Two Point Mine and continue operations at
Site 7. We will also establish an access road of approximately .25 miles to the Free
Hawk, C&J No. 1, and C&J No. 2 claims in Section 34. This was approved in 2006.
Mining operations will commence in 2009 at these sites.
Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation, and claim maintenance will be
continued throughout the season.
Proposed 2008 Disturbances:
Proposed operations for 2008 will be limited to Site 7 on the Two Point claim. Site 7 will
be opened approximately 0.75 acre and closed and reclaimed at season end. Unless
additional mineralization is discovered, this site will likely be completed this season.
Proposed 2008 Reclamation:
All of Site 7 should be reclaimed by season close.
Approximately two dozen conifers and shrubs will be planted on Site 7, which was
reclaimed during 2007.
