MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT <br />For Season 2007 <br />CRYSTALJACK MINING <br />PERMIT NO. M-1993-034 <br />Prepared: 15 Apri12008 <br />Summary: <br />Mechanized equipment was operated on the Crystaljack mining properties from 18 June <br />through 5 July to recover amazonite, smoky quartz, fluorite, goethite, and other <br />crystallized minerals. During this time, the equipment was idle 5 days for maintenance or <br />for Sunday. Work was limited to the Two Point claim at Site 7, and Site 5. An access <br />road was constructed across the Two Point for access to Colorado Calumet Co. Inc. <br />claims (see M-2006-034 report). All sites which were opened were closed and reseeded. <br />Additionally, trees and reseeding was accomplished on Qui-Buc No. 1. Site 5 on Qui-Buc <br />No. 1 remains open for future work. <br />Map Depicting Operations: <br />Attached are maps showing the ten claims covered under this permit, permit M-1993- <br />030. The maps show past excavations which have been reclaimed (green), currently open <br />dig sites (shaded orange) and proposed dig sites (either a blue button or a rectangle). <br />Current Disturbances (20072 <br />Site 7 on the Two Point claim was opened for a total of 0.75 acre and then refilled, re- <br />contoured, and reseeded. This site will be extended during 2008. Site 5 was re-opened for <br />a total of 0.02 acre, and reclaimed. An access road was cut across the Two Point claim for <br />access to Colorado Calumet Co. Inc. mining claims. <br />Forest Service approved access gates were installed on the mining access roads on the <br />Two Point claim and on Qui-Buc No. 5. <br />Reclamation Summary (Includes 2007 Reclamation <br />Since this project began in 1993, approximately 3.6 acres have been excavated and <br />reclaimed. All newly reclaimed sites aze reseeded the same season. The following season, <br />these sites aze then planted with trees. Only Site 5 on Qui-Buc 1 and Sites 7 and 5 on the <br />Two Point claim aze less than 80 percent growth. All other reclaimed sites are at least 80 <br />percent growth and should be considered completely reclaimed. <br />
