("Beltramo") in accordance with 37-90-137(11) C.R.S. The <br />required fee of $257 has been paid (receipt number 3613808). This office also <br />acknowledges receipt of the $257 filing fee received on December 31, 2007 (receipt <br />number 3624456). <br />PLAN OF OPERATION <br />According to information submitted, no ground water was exposed prior to January <br />1, 1981. You anticipate that the wet mining operation at this site will expose a water <br />surface area no larger than one acre. The pit will be backfilled upon completion of mining <br />operations <br />DEPLETIONS <br />According to information submitted, this year's anticipated annual lagged depletion <br />to the Arkansas River from the JBTN-Beltramo Mine Pit will be approximately 9.58 acre- <br />feet. The total losses from the pit are calculated to be 10.66 acre-feet, which is <br />comprised of 3.34 acre-feet of net evaporation from the exposed groundwater surface <br />and 7.32 acre-feet for operations (2.04 acre-feet lost in product removal and washing and <br />0.91 acre-feet for dust control, and 4.42 acre feet for water used in concrete mixing) as <br />summarized on your Table 2 (copy attached).
