Therefore, the roadway disturbance acreage has
been increased and the disturbance acreage of the facilities has been decreased.
Lysimeters were inspected monthly and reported to the Division. The lysimeters remained dry
throughout the year.
Ground water sampling and analysis of the San Luis town and the Shalom Ranch wells were
conducted in accordance with the applicable technical revision monitoring plan. Laboratory
analytical reports were distributed to the Division and the other applicable parties upon receipt
from the Laboratory.
Tailing facility underdrain flows were monitored at the base of the embankment to determine the
rate of underdrain return flow to the collection pond. The 2007 underdrain flow rates ranged
from 33.37 to 48.11 with a mean annual underdrain flow rate of 42.27 gpm.
As specified in the TR-31 and TR-32 monitoring plans, mor,~thly and quarterly pond analysis were
conducted and reported to the Division.
