. Hydrologic Monitoring Plan <br />Northfield Mine <br />B. Mitigation Plan Procedure <br />1. If a complaint is received from a resident of Chandler <br />Heights by the mine or the Division regarding a change in <br />water level in a domestic well, the complaint will be <br />investigated within 24 hours of receipt of notification. In <br />the event investigation results in a "no impact" <br />conclusion, the resident must wait 60 days before <br />submitting another complaint. <br />2. If a complaint is received regarding domestic well <br />dewatering after water level declines are measured in the <br />adjacent SBWMW and investigation indicates dewatering <br />is due to mining activity, one or more of the following <br />mitigation measures will be implemented as necessary <br />a. Haul water to the resident of sufficient quantity <br />and quality to meet the normal daily needs of the <br />resident until a permanent solution is achieved. <br />p. Lower the pump in the well. <br />c. Locate, drill and install a new domestic well <br />including all piping, repairs and testing, as <br />required in accordance with the Rules and <br />Regulations of the State Engineer. <br />IX. Annual Report <br />The Annual Hydrology Report will document mine inflows, water <br />discharged from the mine, water consumed in the mine, water <br />imported for use in the mine, surface and groundwater <br />monitoring data, and a discussion of water balance within the <br />mine operation. The report will include an updated mine <br />workings map showing the locations of mine inflows. The annual <br />report will based on a calendar year (January 1 through <br />December 31), and will be submitted to the Division by February <br />15 of each year. <br />• <br />8 <br />
