5.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the high concentrations of total dissolved solids and total suspended solids in the samples, the monitoring
wells identified above should be redeveloped so that the actual sediment load in the wells are representative of the
groundwater sediment loading.
The current groundwater monitoring schedule should be followed with the following revisions:
1. Remove CRMW09 from the Standard and Drinking Quality Parameter sampling plan and replace it with
CRMW06. There is a years worth of data and with the current remediation at the Watada Red site along with
the possibility of the mine improving the water quality at the site this well should be monitored closely.
2. Add CRMW40 to the Standard and Drinking Quality Parameter sampling plan, so that a two year pattern can be
established for groundwater influenced from off site activities.
3. The Extended Parameter sampling plan should remain the same as in the original plan.
J:\Bromley-142\WQ Baseline Report Jan 200710ct O6- Itrrpt.doc
•

Annual 2006 Sampling Event -Lupton Lakes -12- January 2007
